Software Engineer /Team Lead Image processing

Technical leadership of a small software engineer / image processing team responsible for the research and development of image processing algorithms and integration of these algorithms into video and 3D software driver stacks.

Primary responsibilities will include
Research and development of image processing algorithms
Responsible for all technical aspects of the team’s work
Liaising with other groups to facilitate the integration of algorithms
Day-to-day supervision of team members
Assignment and monitoring of tasks
Construction/monitoring of schedules
Team appraisals

Required Skills
Five years or more C or C++ programming experience
Commercial or academic experience of image processing
Two years or more experience leading small teams at a technical level
Excellent problem solving skills

Desirable Skills
Working knowledge of OpenCL
PhD or MSc in image processing
Experience writing low-level device drivers
Understanding of video compression techniques

Qualifications
BSc in Engineering or Computing, preferably MSc/PhD in image processing
