Geek wanted !
Are you a self confessed geek? It’s 2am and you’ve been working on your personal projects since dinner. You have a firstname-secondname domain, own 3 or more PCs and a Ubuntu T-shirt. Your kids speak binary (if fortunate enough to have a family - Second Life doesn’t count). You didn’t conceive your kids – you compiled them. You love Linux; Windows is just a pane in the glass. Your lifelong ambition: jack into the Matrix.
Okay, so these aren’t really the attributes my clients are looking for, but they are looking for software engineers who love to code – the fact you are reading this advert probably means you are a geek at heart and love technology. I have companies across the UK crying out for good software engineers from graduate to very senior level who write software for a hobby (i.e. not for long hours and low pay).
Skills of interest – Linux, C, C++, Python, assembler, PHP, Perl, assembler, embedded or micro-controller projects.
If you’re looking for that perfect opportunity then update your CV with all your geeky projects and mail me. We’ll have a discrete chat one evening where I’ll tell you what’s available now and let you know when that ideal job comes up.
