Control Systems Engineer

Control Systems position involving the design and implementation of new and existing control strategies. The team is responsible for the design and implementation of high performance embedded control system applications, code for which is auto generated directly from Simulink models. In addition to design work the position will involve liaising with customers both directly and via the companies support engineers.

Base skills required:

Use of Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow for developing embedded systems
Experience of design and tuning of classical control systems
Ability to understand and resolve problems at both system and code level
At least 2 years’ experience in modelling and applying real-time control systems (or a Graduate with MSc/PhD Mechatronics/ control/Robotics degree)
A team player with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a multi-discipline, multi project environment
Knowledge of automotive or aerospace environments is an advantage.
