Development Engineer – Labview, C/C++, Embedded

A dynamic, growing new venture developing the world’s most advanced microscopy technology are looking for a Development Engineer with strong Software skills to participate in the effort to deliver new products from the company’s research and development.

Responsibilities
- Develop code using Labview, Labview RealTime and Labview FPGA, inc communications to external hardware
- Extend code written in C/C++/.NET for development of instrument control and front end interfaces, including developing image presentation algorithms
- Embedded coding including microcontroller (e.g. PIC) firmware
- Running instrument to test/develop hardware via operation of tool
- Work with vendors for software/hardware specification/procurement
- Generate structured documentation
- Position reports to the CTO

Expertise Required
- Bachelors Degree in Physical Sciences or Engineering discipline or equivalents, 5+ years relevant experience.
