Software Engineer - Video Analysis

This is as varied role that requires a flexible software engineer who is happy to work with a variety of languages and platforms. The software engineer will develop Windows software (mostly C with some C++for prototypes), end product embedded applications, the odd web based project and some algorithm work as required. You’ll work in a small team and report direct to the CTO - this isn’t a job for those looking for immediate promotional opportunities or to climb the ladder but as the company grows this may be a possibility.

Suitable Software Engineers will have good C/C++ skills and some commercial experience in a relevant field such as audio/video/media/image processing or similar and a basic understanding of electronics. More senior candidates should have embedded or DSP programming experience. Any previous image processing, video content analysis or camera based work will also be useful.

Salary: £30-40k
