Software Engineer, Complex Algorithms

Software engineer position that will involve taking mathematically complex algorithms and implementing them in software using C and/or C++. The technology is truly leading edge and will typically not be seen on the shelf for another 2 years. There are 4 software engineer teams you could be placed with, individually focusing on Video, Communications, 3D graphics and Verification (in a group of 30 engineers, currently 3 software engineer vacancies). Your educational background may be from Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Electronics (strong maths essential) and software skills should include a good standard of C or C++ (they use both but are happy with a good standard of either). Experienced and recent graduate software engineers are encouraged to apply.

Location: Hertfordshire 25 min commute from Euston (central London)
Salary: £25-37k
