Linux Kernel Software Engineer to £55k

Software Engineers: Do you have a passion for Linux and an in depth understanding of the Linux kernel? Working as part of a small software engineering team this role will bring you into contact with technology that won’t be on the shelf for another 2 years. We are looking for a number of Linux software engineers to develop low level code for next generation hardware using Android, Linux, Mobin and Meego based OS’s. One of the successful software engineers will lead the team.

Position: Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer and Team Leader
Location: Hertfordshire 20 min commute from Euston (central London)
Salary: £30-55k

Key Skills: Linux Kernel programming, at least three years C or C++
Desirable skills: Android or Moblin, Device Drivers (particularly Linux but any useful), Comms, Video, File systems, Graphics, Embedded.
