Video Expert H.264

To serve as the video expert on a range of video standards during architecture, implementation and testing.
Working with a small team to determine appropriate encode and decode designs, implementing software models of solutions for architectural analysis, Identification of key features of the standards to ensure adequate test coverage.

Required Skills
Significant experience working with one or more video standards, particularly H.264 and related
Good C and/or C++ skills
Good communication and teamworking skills

Desirable Skills
An understanding of digital hardware design
Knowledge of SVC would be beneficial
Experience of video encode algorithms – e.g., motion search
Scripting – Perl, Bash etc.
Prior knowledge of SystemC would be a benefit
