Android Media Centre – Embedded Software Engineer

This company are creating a new team to work on the development of an android based set top box/PVR (expect to see web apps on your TV very soon) and are looking for a software team leader, 2 senior & 2 junior embedded software engineers to take the product forward. For the more junior roles the manager is looking for a good standard of embedded C and some Linux experience. For the senior positions Embedded C, good Linux and ideally device drivers. The software team leader position requires an engineer who can get up to speed quickly with the software stack so previous experience working on a PVR or set top box product is essential.

Location: Hertfordshire 20 min commute from Euston (central London)
Salary: £28-55k
