Junior Software Engineer 32 days holiday !

Ideally suited to an embedded software engineer with strong C skills (probably looking for their second commercial role ) the job will involve working closely with a team of software and hardware engineers developing and testing software on high reliability systems.

The embedded software engineer will develop code for micro-controllers and real time operating systems with the possibility of some Windows application development. The embedded software engineer will also be responsible for improving the automated test and verification tools so any prior knowledge in these areas will help your application.

Position: Junior Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Guildford, Surrey.
Salary: £25-32k
Benefits: 32 days holiday, 10% pension, healthcare, sports membership, flexible hours.
Key Skills: Embedded C, some testing experience (ideally automated testing)
Desirable skills: serial comms or CAN bus, understanding of digital electronics, assembler, RTOS, Linux or Windows.

Requirements: Experienced embedded software engineer with good degree, strong embedded C (ideally some assembler too), 1+ years embedded software engineering and testing/verification with any of the following being advantageous – high reliability/ mission critical / safety critical software, micro-controller, automated test frameworks, RTOS, Linux.
