Graduate Design Engineer

An international electronics organization developing advanced communications technology is looking for a Graduate Design Engineer! You’ll get a kick out of building real systems, working on Linux platforms and programming software using a mix of Java and C. The Graduate Design Engineer will join a team of Software Engineers writing new software (not just developing someone else’s code) for the network infrastructure specifically for advanced SMS technology! Graduate Design Engineers are entitled to excellent benefits including a salary £23-27k + gym membership, DIS4*salary, 25 days holiday rising to 30), Pension, BUPA for married partner and children.

Requirements for this role include:

- Excellent C, C++ or Java programming
- Understanding of software development and electronics
- A 2:1 technical degree from a good university (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics ideal) and A Levels to a minimum (BBB)

You might also have experiencing in networks, TCP/IP, Linux, SQL, embedded software
