Embedded Software Engineer - Northampton

Embedded Software Engineer wanted to take technical responsibility for software development of machine vision detection products! You’ll be leading the software development of hardware drivers, communications protocols and system level architectures. You’ll be expected to have experience in low level programming (C / C++, Assembler) with a solid knowledge of digital and analogue hardware design. The embedded software is developed for image processing and pattern recognition technology, so an interest in machine vision would be desirable but not essential. The Embedded Software Engineer will work in modern offices, joining a friendly and supportive Research and Design team of Hardware and Software Engineers. The ideal Embedded Software Engineer will have embedded C / C++ programming, an understanding of electronics debugging tools and is likely to have contributed to platform architecture definition.

Embedded Software Engineers might also have experience with Analog Devices Blackfin processors, implementation and optimisation of TCP/IP stacks, AI systems, machine vision, pattern recognition, neural networks, Visual Studio, MFC, signal acquisition techniques, noise critical applications.
