Software Engineer C/C++ SDK tools & driver development

Exciting time to for a software engineer to join a fledgling start-up company who provide complete design solutions based around short range wireless technologies such as UWB, Zigbee and Bluetooth. They currently employ around 10 staff, have 3 current software engineer vacancies and are expecting to grow considerably in the next 12 months. The role will involve developing cross platform C/C++ software (Windows, Linux, MacOS) focusing on an SDK, host tools and drivers for various platforms.

Position: Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £30-45k + bonus scheme, free parking, flexible hours, working from home.
Key Skills: C/C++, cross platform development
Desirable skills: GNU, GDB, GCC, Linux, embedded devices, wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, UWB, Zigbee or similar, protocol stacks, interfaces (RS232, UART, USB) perl, python, previous start-up experience, PC interfaces (eg. RS232 Uart, serial comms, USB, etc).
