Research Engineer – Positioning System Algorithms/DSP
New research engineer role to research, develop, analyse and implement new algorithms associated with the problems of positioning a hybrid device with access to GPS, cellular, WiFi etc. Responsibilities will include designing Algorithms in Matlab or C/C++ aimed at testing new ideas or validating hypothesis, conducting trials – simulations or field tests, reviewing and contributing to patent specifications, integration and testing support at customer sites, communication with other member of the team and participation to overall design activities. The role guarantees challenging projects with exceptionally talented peers in a culture where you are encouraged to contribute ideas and run with them.

We would like to hear from Research engineers (or DSP engineers) with a good, relevant degree (ideally PhD), a working knowledge of Matlab and C or C++, excellent maths and Signal Processing skills, excellent written and spoken communication skills essential. Desirable skills include an understanding of cellular networks, wifi and/or GPS, Embedded Software development.
