Principal Embedded Software Engineer position taking ownership of system architecture and providing technical leadership to the software department. The role offers challenging projects where technical excellence defines your standing in the team. The company hierarchy has a flat structure - there aren’t lots of managers. We are looking for a principal embedded software engineer with extensive experience (ideally in the semiconductor industry) who has focused on a purely technical career and takes a lead role in design projects.

The positions are for embedded software engineers with strong C coding skills, ideally assembler with embedded micro-controllers /microprocessors or RTOS experience. Scripts are written in Perl, Tcl and Make so these and other high level languages such as C++ would be useful too. The ideal candidate would also bring along experience of writing device drivers, testing /debugging real time systems, build systems, DSP, protocol stacks, Unix, Linux and Windows.
