Embedded Linux Software Engineers

We are looking for multiple Software Engineers fluent in C programming, preferably with broad knowledge of device drivers, networking and embedded Linux. Software Engineers will join a forward thinking technology company developing the fastest high-speed network controllers! You’ll work with a team of Embedded Software Developers, Hardware Engineers and the VP of Software Development in large modern offices in Cambridge. As a Software Engineer you’ll develop the next generation of embedded software for network controllers, involving device driver development, hardware and software design and engaging with TCP and Ethernet technologies! Ideal Software Engineers will have:

-C programming
-Ethernet, TCP/IP understanding
-Embedded systems development, preferably with Linux
-Technical degree or higher with good academics

On a day to day basis Software Engineers will engage with the following activities:

-Software development for device drivers
-Co-design of hardware and software
-Firmware development for TCP/IP and Ethernet enabled controllers
-Working with VP of Software, Technical Project Managers, Software Engineers and global customers to define software requirements

Desirables: Linux kernel development, server system architectures, digital design (EDA tools, Verilog, VHDL), PCI Express, server visualisation (Xen / Vmware / KVM), Assembler programming
