Embedded Software Engineer £25-35k

Embedded Software Engineer position taking immediate ownership of projects providing software development skills in C and sometimes assembler for wireless LAN devices. We are looking for a junior to mid level embedded software engineer (with some commercial experience) who would like to focus on a hands-on engineering role at this stage in their career.

The positions are for embedded software engineers with strong C coding skills, ideally assembler with embedded micro-controllers /microprocessors or RTOS experience. Scripts are written in Perl, Tcl and Make so these and other high level languages such as C++ would be useful too. The ideal candidate would also bring along experience of writing device drivers, testing /debugging real time systems, build systems, DSP, protocol stacks, Unix, Linux and Windows but none of these are essential.
