Cambridge Start-up – Software Engineer

Exciting time to for an embedded software engineer to join a fledgling start-up company who provide complete design solutions based around short range wireless technologies such as UWB, Zigbee and Bluetooth. They currently employ around 10 staff, have 3 current software engineer vacancies and are expecting to grow considerably in the next 12 months. They also have a cross platform development position focusing on SDK, host tools and driver development for various platforms.

Position: Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £30-45k + bonus scheme, free parking, flexible hours, working from home.
Key Skills: Embedded C/C++, wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, UWB, Zigbee or similar
Desirable skills: GNU, GDB, GCC, Linux, protocol stacks, interfaces (RS232, UART, USB) perl, python, previous start-up experience.
