Senior DSP Software Engineer

Senior DSP Engineer role primarily involved with algorithm development and DSP software implementation for audio solutions.

Responsibilities to include:

• Writing, debugging, optimizing and testing of Matlab, embedded C and assembly
• Maintenance and improvement of existing audio algorithm code base (inc noise reduction, acoustic echo cancellation, automatic gain control, voice activity detection, packet loss compensation, speech recognition and other audio enhancements)
• Supporting Research and Feasibility Studies
• Software development of new algorithmic audio processing solutions including areas above and additionally including state of the art audio codecs, audibility and intelligibility enhancements, microphone array processing, 3D audio and other audio effects and enhancements
• Project management tasks including creation and maintenance of requirements and schedule documentation for assigned projects

Desirable skills: assembler, Linux, C++, protocols, project management, codecs, wireless (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee etc), relevant MSc or PhD
Salary: £40-55k
