Video Software Engineers - Graduate to Senior

We have roles for recent graduates, experienced and Senior Software Engineers to develop advanced video software! The company offer a generous salary to £70k with benefits and opportunities for visiting tradeshows in Vegas and Amsterdam! Recent graduates with a 2:1 will also be considered with a starting salary of £34k, generous benefits and on the job training provided! The Software Engineer will join a team working environment with highly skilled engineers, bringing you into contact with technical experts and some of the latest electronics technology. You will be involved in developing cutting edge video processing solutions for major broadcast, military, video conference and surveillance applications.

Primary responsibilities include:
-Development of video processing solutions for developing complex System-On-Chip video designs
-Development of algorithmic C++ / SystemC models at operation/transaction level
-Automating validation of hardware functioning against software

Qualifications: 2.1 degree, MSc or PhD in Software Engineering, Maths, Physics or equivalent.
(For the graduate roles the company will be looking for A’s and B’s at A Level.)

The Software Engineer we are looking for has:
-Excellent C / C++ or Java excellent hands on development
-An interest in digital design
-Excellent communication, creativity and self starting attitude

Video processing experience is highly desirable.

Desired: SystemC for modelling, SystemVerilog / Verilog, ESL tool methodologies, System-On-Chip design, H.264 codes, MPEG2, video processing, an understanding of digital design, compiler
