Embedded Software Engineer with Hardware

Embedded software engineer position in a very stable, thriving company who develop hand held precision cutting devices for specialist industries. We would like to hear from embedded software engineers with an Electronics degree (or hands on design experience) software development with C and assembler, some kind of device or machine control experience (ideally motor control) and an understanding of analogue & digital electronics.

The company would prefer someone with many years commercial experience but would consider a junior software engineer with a good degree and relevant projects.

Position: Hardware / Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire
Salary: £25-40k
Key Skills: Embedded C & assembler, control systems, analogue & digital electronics.
Desirable skills: Freescale DSP, PIC, brushless DC motors and control methods, Schematic capture and PCB layout (Altium ideal), high reliability software development to medical or military standards
