Computer Scientist

Highly intelligent, fast-paced, hard-working team currently have an opportunity for a graduate software engineer or someone with a few years experience (and possibly a relevant MSc or PhD) to design and implement algorithms and C++ software for intelligent sensors and their applications. We are looking for an enthusiastic graduate with an interest in areas such as artificial intelligence/ pattern recognition/ machine vision /image processing etc and VERY good C++ programming skills on a Windows platform. This could be a graduate software engineer straight from university or an experienced software engineer with a few years experience.

Due to the highly technical nature of the role the company are only considering software engineers with a degree from a top University and strong A levels.

Desirable Skills: C#, imaging, AI, Visual Studio and MFC, pattern recognition, embedded C, graphics.

This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or an experienced software engineer to kick start their career amongst highly intelligent engineers and scientists working on very high tech, scientific projects. As well as high level C++ applications the successful software engineer will be exposed to embedded C programming and technologies such as image processing, machine vision, pattern recognition, neural networks etc.

A relevant MSc or PhD research qualification would also be welcomed.
