Embedded Software Manager - Agile

Management of Software Design Teams that develop and support real-time embedded software for a range of markets. The position requires an experienced Software Manager who can liaise and partner with software teams, gain knowledge of their offerings and work with product management to determine the best development strategy to satisfy customer needs.

Suitable Software Managers must have previous managerial responsibility of a software development team/s and have knowledge of real-time software and device driver level development, preferably introducing Agile development practices. It’s essential the Software Manager has real drive and enthusiasm with excellent management skills, someone who can inspire and lead from the front.

Expertise in one or more of the following will be an advantage although this in NOT a hands-on development role: BSP development, porting and device drivers, modern Real-Time Operating Systems (LynuxWorks LynxOS, VxWorks, Wind River Linux, Green Hills INTEGRITY OS), Linux kernel, Freescale QorIQ or Intel Core i7 computer architectures.
