Graduate Embedded Software Engineer (LynxOS, VxWorks, Linux)

New position for a Graduate Embedded Software Engineer with an interest in embedded systems, low-level programming and an understanding of hardware. You will develop new embedded computing products using a broad range of technologies including VxWorks and LynxOS, low-level C for programming firmware and microcontrollers.

Primary responsibilities as a Graduate Embedded Software Engineer include:

-supporting new embedded computing products (processor board, FPGAs and more)
-low level C programming for firmware
-developing software using Real-Time Operating Systems (VxWorks, LynxOS)

Ideal Graduate Embedded Software Engineers will have:

-technical degree in software engineering, electronics or equivalent
-demonstrated interest in embedded software and a solid understanding of electronics
-C programming

Any experience with Linux, kernels, device drivers and computer hacking either as part of your degree or in your spare time is highly desirable.

The Graduate Embedded Software Engineer will be given training from technical experts, joining a team of Embedded Software Engineers and Hardware Developers. It’s a small company where you’ll gain solid grounding of new technologies in an interesting and diverse role. The embedded computing products you develop will be used in video, medical and communications products.
