Graduate Software Engineer

This ever growing company, with 4 UK sites, are looking to recruit graduate software engineers for their Hertfordshire, South Wales and Leeds offices. Successful graduate software engineers will work in a fun and lively atmosphere, within a team of hard working hardware, software and development engineers. With numerous jobs on offer, the company are looking for 3 different graduate software engineers;

Position 1 - This position includes; aiding in design, development, maintenance and execution of verification software tools and assisting in development of software support. This position requires graduate software engineers to have;
• Experience in C programming
• Experience of Linux and/or Windows
• Experience with real time/embedded operating systems

Position 2 - Working within the compiler team the successful graduate software engineer will provide high – tech embedded compilation tools for multi – threaded processors. The successful graduate software engineer is required to show;
• -Experience in C and/or C++
• Knowledge of algorithms and optimisations
• Understanding of compilation tools
• Understanding of processors architecture and internals
• Experience of Linux

Position 3 - Designing and implementing processor simulators utilised in a range of application areas, including but not limited to; video, graphics, radio, ranging from embedded micro controllers up to full applications processors. The successful graduate software engineer will create tools for new and existing processor cores and will have;
• Experience in C and/or C++
• Knowledge of the full software development life cycle

CVs MUST highlight use and experience of relevant programming languages, whether academic or personal.
All positions require a degree (2:1 minimum) in a related discipline, for example; Computer Science, Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, Electronics.
