Embedded Software Engineer for Real World Projects

We are hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to join a large Cambridge based company, offering flexible hours, casual dress, career progression and excellent benefits including a salary to £56k! As an Embedded Software Engineer you will join the Mobile Software Development Team, where your work will target the development of a new product, primarily for electronic entertainment systems! Ideal Embedded Sotware Engineers will have fluent C or C++ programming for embedded systems possibly Linux, WinCE, Android, QNX or ultron. Working closely with other Embedded Software Engineers you’ll make a significant contribution to this next generation product, used by technology giants - including the worlds largest search engine, the global leaders in business management and a well-known provider of real-world electronics products!

Suitable Embedded Software Engineers will have:

-Programming for embedded systems! You’ll be exposed to a variety of operating systems including WinCE, Android, Linux, QNX and ultron, so practical experience in these areas is an advantage.
-Computer networks. Ideally you’ll have worked with TCP/IP, security technologies, protocol design or have experience in multithreaded programming
-SDK development or equivalent software tools and components
-You are likely to enjoy solving challenging technical problems and you will be able to communicate ideas effectively with Senior Software Engineers and Software Managers.

Embedded Software Engineer desirables include fluency in a foreign language – primarily German, French, Italian or Polish and software development for automotive applications.
