2012 Graduate Software Engineer

Successful Graduate Software Engineers will work in the heart of research and development for the design and implementation of the most sophisticated and technologically advanced video conferencing systems on the planet. Graduate Software Engineers will join one of the many small development teams and be involved in the design and implementation of product features from day one.

The company are currently considering Graduate Software Engineers who fit one of 3 profiles –

Profile 1 –
• Knowledge of C/C++
• An interest in low-level system software and/or real time embedded software

Profile 2 –
• Knowledge of Object Orientated programming with C++ or Python
• An interest in system software or network programming

Profile 3 –
• Knowledge of functional programming with Erlang or Haskell

Desirable skills – Linux, TCP/IP networking, H.323/SIP experience, digital hardware design, DSP, FPGAs and VHDL, exposure video and audio encoding and processing techniques and technologies

Due to the highly technical nature of the work applicants must have an outstanding academic background including A & B grade A levels and a top degree. Graduate software engineers can expect a VERY generous starting salary of between £34k and £40k (PhD candidates) plus a range of benefits.
